Graduate Assistant

Jeff Schmidt, PT, DPT, NCS, MSCS is a doctoral student under the mentorship of Dr. Ethan Hill. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of Florida in 2017 and his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida in 2020. He is a Board-Certified Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy and Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist, currently practicing in an outpatient rehabilitation setting at AdventHealth Sports Med & Rehab. Jeff has been recognized for his contributions to the field, including receiving the Early Career Professional Award from the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy. His research focuses on advancing innovative rehabilitation techniques, particularly the use of blood flow restriction, to enhance mobility and quality of life for individuals with multiple sclerosis and other neurologic conditions. Upon completing his doctoral program, his goal is to become a faculty member within a physical therapy program, contributing to both research and clinical education.
