Emma Herring is a master’s student in Kinesiology on the Clinical Exercise Physiology Track. She works in the Clinical Applications of Rest and Exercise (CARE) Laboratory under the mentorship of Dr. Sarah Fretti and Dr. Caitlin Cheruka, assisting with studies on sleep quality, exercise interventions, and cardiovascular function. Her research interests include the interaction between sleep, exercise, and cardiovascular health, with broader interests in lifestyle and behavioral strategies to improve cardiovascular outcomes. Emma plans to continue her studies through a Ph.D. in Kinesiology, aiming to bridge research and clinical practice to advance evidence-based exercise prescription and rehabilitation strategies.
