The Division of Kinesiology is dedicated to serving the university and community at large by providing excellence in undergraduate and graduate education of sport and science related professionals while promoting lifelong fitness and wellness through the integration of higher education and corporate partnerships.
We offer undergraduate, masters, and doctoral degree programs. Our doctoral program was ranked sixth in the nation by the National Academy of Kinesiology during its 2015 doctoral program review. To learn more about our ranking, read the UCF Today article.
The success of the Division of Kinesiology is attributed to the teamwork of both faculty and students. Students collaborate with our faculty in conducting research in the Institute of Exercise Physiology and Wellness, a multi-lab facility utilizing cutting edge technology. Our faculty mentor students throughout the research process. Students may have opportunities to get involved in funded studies, co-write manuscripts for publication, and co-present at state and national research conferences. This recent story about one of our faculty clearly highlights our thoughts on this topic.
