The Division of Kinesiology will strive to be the leader in the preparation of Sport and Exercise Science related professionals.<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Combining scientific and theoretical knowledge acquisition with practical hands-on applications and expertise of a variety of sport and exercise science faculty, facilities, associations and organizations<\/li>\n
  • Continually reviewing the design, delivery, assessment and enhancement of high quality and innovative instruction and program curriculum<\/li>\n
  • Becoming a premier destination and resource for matters relating to the fitness, exercise, health and sport sciences<\/li>\n
  • Providing high caliber practicum experiences and integrated service learning opportunities<\/li>\n
  • Infusing cutting edge technologies and research findings into instruction, research, and service<\/li>\n
  • Developing and maintaining strong collaborative relationships with our local, regional, national, and international communities<\/li>\n
  • Developing relationships and attracting partnerships with sport and exercise science associations, organizations, and facilities across the spectrum of the sport, fitness and health industries<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    • Serve as a national and international conduit for sport and exercise science research<\/li>\n
    • Provide a portal for the collection and dissemination of research findings<\/li>\n
    • Develop a state-of-the-art research institute in Central Florida<\/li>\n
    • Identify and pursue future directions for research<\/li>\n
    • Seek research grants, fellowships and awards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Education<\/h4>\n

      • Provide professional integrity by taking a leadership role in the development and administration of certifications and testing programs<\/li>\n
      • Serve by sponsoring conferences and seminars which will present research as well as provide training, certifications and credentials<\/li>\n
      • Use \u201ccutting-edge\u201d technology and equipment in the exercise science laboratories<\/li>\n
      • Meet the educational and training needs of diverse populations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
