By earning a bachelor\u2019s degree in health informatics and information management from the University of Central Florida, you will position yourself for a rapidly growing career at the forefront of the healthcare industry\u2013one that\u2019s expected to expand at least 16% over the next decade.<\/p>\n

The School of Global Health Management and Informatics has designed a curriculum that provides foundational classroom theory and practical experience. This means that after learning about business management, systems analysis, medical coding, and computer applications in healthcare, students will apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world setting.<\/p>\n

Location<\/strong><\/div>\n

The Health Information Management (BS) may be completed fully online, although not all elective options or program prerequisites may be offered online. Newly admitted students choosing to complete this program exclusively via UCF online classes may enroll with a reduction in campus-based fees.<\/p>\n

Face-to-face classes are offered at\u00a0UCF Downtown<\/a>, located in the heart of downtown Orlando and a short distance away from the city\u2019s largest hospital systems. This central location provides easy accessibility, and increased opportunities for internships and research collaborations with industry experts.
