CORE\u2019s work centers on identifying and modifying obesogenic behaviors\u2014such as physical activity, sleep, and sedentary behavior\u2014across both structured (in\u2011school) and less structured (out\u2011of\u2011school and summer) environments.<\/p>\n<p>A central focus of CORE is investigating the accelerated weight gain many children experience during summer months, a persistent but largely unresolved public health challenge.
