Graduate Assistant

Originally from upstate New York, Kylie Harmon received her B.A. from Binghamton University before heading west to obtain her M.S. from California State University, Fullerton where she studied Kinesiology and Human Performance. Now at UCF, Kylie is studying for her Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology. As a doctoral student, she splits her time between research, her coursework, and teaching undergraduate classes PET 3097 Health & Wellness and PET 4550C Assessment & Evaluation in Kinesiology. Working in the Neuromuscular Plasticity Laboratory under Matt Stock, her research interests include neuromuscular adaptations to strength training, aging, and disuse. Upon completing her Ph.D. studies, she plans to pursue a career in academia. Kylie is an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
