Her areas of expertise include hearing aids, central auditory processing, cognition and aging, and tinnitus evaluations. She is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to improve the quality of life for individuals with hearing challenges.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education<\/strong><br \/>\nDr. Cosby earned her Bachelor of Science in communicative disorders from UCF. She obtained both her Doctor of Philosophy in communication sciences and disorders and her Doctor of Audiology degrees from East Carolina University.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><br \/>\nIn addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Cosby serves as an associate lecturer at UCF and is a member of the Graduate Admissions Committee for the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She is the recipient of several honors, including the Citizenship Media Award, the Mujer Real Dove Award by Unilever, and recognition as one of America\u2019s Best Doctors by the American Health Council.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><br \/>\nIn addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Garced-Santiago is an adjunct faculty member at Albizu University. She is actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), where she advocates for advancements in audiology, including Medicare telehealth services.
