All materials are submitted in the ATCAS system. No materials are to be submitted to the UCF Graduate Application.<\/p>\n

  1. Transcripts<\/strong> \u2013 one official transcript from each<\/strong> college\/university attended. Original transcripts from every college\/university attended must be submitted\u00a0<\/span>even if previous credits are already reflected on another transcript<\/b>. The transcripts must demonstrate a minimum of a 3.0 overall GPA in undergraduate coursework and completion of prerequisite coursework with a minimum grade of \u201cC\u201d (2.0).<\/li>\n
  2. Proof of bachelor\u2019s degree<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the bachelor\u2019s degree may be in any discipline from an accredited U.S. institution recognized by UCF or from a recognized foreign institution and may be in progress at the time of application. However, the degree must be awarded prior to the program\u2019s start date in the Summer C semester (mid-May).<\/li>\n
  3. International coursework<\/strong> \u2013 Applicants who have attended a college\/university outside the United States must also provide a course-by-course credential evaluation with GPA calculation.<\/li>\n
  4. 50 hours of observation<\/strong> \u2013 a letter confirming hours must include the name, credentials, and contact information of the athletic trainer (BOC certified) you observed in a high school, collegiate, and\/or professional sports setting.<\/li>\n
  5. Three (3) letters of recommendation.<\/strong> One must be from an athletic trainer. The second must be from a current (or former) employer, coach, or professor\/instructor. The third letter may be from a person of your choice, but clergy, family, or close friends are inappropriate choices.<\/li>\n
  6. Personal statement<\/strong> \u2013 about your professional goals, including your understanding of the profession and why you have chosen athletic training as a career.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Admission to the MAT program is competitive. The ATCAS Application and the UCF Graduate Application will open in mid-fall. Students must complete the entire ATCAS Application (all documents are submitted here) and the basic UCF Graduate Application (no documents) before being considered.<\/p>\n

    Students may continue to apply through April 1st. Applications will be evaluated on a rolling basis until seats are filled. Students should apply as early in the fall as possible.<\/p>\n
